A lot of shooters report problems with the Versapod tilting too much which may results in your gun flipping over. The main cause of this problem is due to too much space in the cavity for the notch that mate the pole to the bipod. I think the original idea is to allow some tilt for uneven ground but I think there is just too much space.

One quick fix is to machine a small washer that goes over the notch

Which will almost fill up the space when mounted

The resulting tilt is small and controllable (my filing down the washer to allow the degree of tilt).

The resulting platform is much better.
