Well?
Not everyone has or needs the high-buck stuff!
What have you used or are you using on your AR's that isn't a scientific marvel and bank breaker?

OH, I'm supposed to start, huh? I'm using a NIKON 6.5-20x44 on my V-MATCH 24; nothing at the moment on the Dissipator; and to get something on the 2003 SEBR when I get it, I'm thinking I might use my trusty USA-made Redfield Widefield Lo-Pro 3-9. My Leupold 4.5-14x40's are on other rifles and will prolly stay there. Whatta you guys using?

I've got a Nikon Monarch 3-9x40 on my DPMS. Before that I was using a *cough*Simmons*cough* 3-10x44 (for sale, cheap). My .22 has a Tasco 4 power - out to 50 yards max, it works great. Iron sights on everything else.

the only cheap scope i;ve got is a 3-9x40 Simmons. Cost me liek $50 at sportsmans guide. Works good for my lower grade rifles. As for the M1A, i coudln't go cheap there. I've got a Springfield 3rd gen. 6-20x56 Mil-dot. [:D]

Nobody will admit to using a TASCO, huh? ...as the topic drops off into oblivion...[;)]

Actually I have a 6.5-20 powered Tasco that I picked up from Gun Tests magazine a few years ago when they did a big scope comparo. I have no issues with it whatsoever. It has never failed, holds zero, is bright and clear. I will be getting a high-dollar mildot this year, but not because I don't like the Tasco. I'll just put it on another rifle.
