Back Ground:
Friends are starting to shoot NFA rifles at 20 to 300+ yards (being mid west there are times that the over 400 yards is actually smaller targets at less than 40 rods  ... but working on that).

Thus for 300+ yards "fast" shooting with a multi shot non-match rifle (i.e AR15/M16, HK91/G3, FALs, M1A/M15, BAR, Bren, 1919 ... etc.) any prefrences on optics?

In particular TA01 vs TA31 vs 3.5 to 10 Leupold tatical.

Which leads into the next question, any use of even considering anyting past an ACOG or Aimpoint for shooting full auto from prone (in particular a HBAR M16 and maybe some day a Shrike ;-).

TA31 or Compact ACOG 3x. You will never go back when you see BAC & illuminated reticule in work.
