Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - National Match sights

Thinking along with my new upper I might order NM sights.  My AR is going to be a SHTF and survival weapon.  Any opionions?  Unneccessary?  Good/Bad?  Fragile?  These will be back up sights as I plan on putting a M2 Aimpoint on.

I have Match sights. I love the smaller peep, its very accurate. Mine came with two small peeps so I drilled out the other to about the same size as the Bushy ghost ring which in my view is the best open sight for closeup and personal use. Makes for the ultimate open sights.
