Has been discussed too many times in the past, however, my being a FNG here, was not able to find any postings in the last 30 days.

Thus for one more time, when mounting an Aimpoint M2# on a M4 upper, I am looking at either the ARMs iron sights and Aimpoint mount (possible the cantilever mount) vs the Knights iron sights (600 or 300 meter) and Aimpoint mount.

ARMS System:
*Iron sights have a large rear appearature for 0-2, two settings (but 300 yard apperature is flat on top of disk)
*Spring loaded rear sight and lever mounting system appear to be a plus.

Knights Systems:
* Range adjustments of the 600 meter sight is nice, however, apperature is on the small side for close us.
- Other option is the 300 meter sight with insert allowing larger apperature, however, like the spring loaded ARMS mount at first pass better than 300 meter sight.
- Lastly not sure how well the Knights Aimpoint mount returns to zero when removed and replaced (any experence is greatly appreicated).

The M4 M16 is used amoung other things for a monthly shoots at 20 to 300 yards, with various size targets (the 4" and 6" blocks at 300 yards have me looking at the ACOG more each time ;-).

# Note for better or worst I passed on Reflex due to wash out when shooting from dark to light and went with the Aimpoint.  However, the other project is optics a little better than the COLT X3 scope, for the HBAR.  Looking at probably the 4x43 ACOG - TA01 or TA31.  But while this is another posting on how to best mount an ACOG TAx1 on a carry handel or flat top ... please free to comment on line or off line ;-).
