Armalite - the only & best choice.

That's the one I use, but I have it mounted atop the BM supplied risers, and it works just fine. It's a matter of personal preference. Got my Armalite "one piece" from Quantico Arms, who seem to have the best price as well as super fast service.

Actually, it's not about personal preference.

The cheap ones aren't machined well and can torque on the scope.

The better ones, like the RRA, don't have the forward canting leg up front like the Armalite, so they might not let you mount the scope far enough forward.

I just got mine in the mail.  It seems as solid as an anvil, and looks great.  Guess I'll have to order another and have an ARMS#5 multibase and a couple of leupold cross slot rings extra just in case, lol.

B-Square makes a mount that works fine, and can be had for $55 rather than 80+. The downside is that it is "plain," not "sexy" like the ArmaLite mount.

The "personal preference" statement was in regards to mounting it atop the BM risers or not. I too am using the Armalite "one piece".

Haven't seen that one before - interesting.

I don't like the looks of the pan head screws - they strip the allen heads pretty easily in my experience.

Also, what's it cost - $499??  (knowing US Optics)  [;d]

Sounds like armalite would be my best way to go!  Thanks gang.

Armalite and RRA mounts didn't work out for me. I used B-Square. Needed to get the scope as far forward as possible. Didn't know about US Optics.

Doesn't look like it goes farther forward than the Armalite:
