Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What size rings?

I am trying to mount a scope on my flat top AR. I used "high" weaver rings but the scope doesn't sit high enough. I don't want to mount it to the carry handle (that's why I got a flat top). Any suggestions on raising it up an inch or so. Cheap solutions preferred.

Try an ARMS #5 here: www.armsmounts.com/list.html, should work w/ the rings you already have.
