I've seen them around lately, what's the lowdown? How do they compare to D&H teflons?

Both are great mags. From what I have seen, the welds on the CP mags appear to be more consistent than the D&H. CP mags are moly finished, not Teflon. Unknown if they will do Teflon in the future.

I’ve noticed that the company has people on the forum promoting their product. That means they are trying to market to the serious enthusiast. In my experiences, when a company goes that route they intend to turn out a quality product.

I’ve never actually seen one of their magazines yet, but I’m so confident in my assessment that I ordered 12 of them from Widener’s a few days ago. With luck they will be in either today or Monday.

How does the moly finish differ from dry film?

That's not the first I've heard about welds on D&H mags. Is there an issue? Or speculation?

Thanks Larry. BTW, I tried to call you at that number and got a voice mail for some security service.

I don't know if there is an issue with the D&H welds. I have just noticed a few that were a bit off, but not to the point that I would expect them to be defective.

I went and pulled four D&H mags and four CP mags. I noticed the bottom weld on the D&H mags was more pronounced than the other welds. It seems to displace the material a little, causing the material to be a bit misaligned on the bottom. Just cosmetic, but something I noticed.
D&H on top, CP on the bottom.

I have 10 of the standard CP mags. They have been great. I'm waiting for a couple of the SS mags for evaluation. If they get here tomorrow, I will take them to the Hernando MG shoot on Sunday.

CP makes great mags and I definetly prefer them over the teflon D&H ones. I beleive CP is coming out with a teflon like mag so they will be even better for those of you who like the teflon finish. For whatever reason I prefer the dry film mags.

CP= pretty much the best mag on the market right now

I just recieved 5 of them, I will give them a run this weekend

So far they fit real good in my Colts and ArmaLites, no binding and they drop free with no problems

I've seen some talk in another thread that suggests the CP mags are the same mags Brownell's is selling. Can anyone confirm that ?

Thanks guys. FYI, Midway USA is selling them for 9.50 (dealer pricing) through the end of March under the AR-Stoner brand.

I spoke with Larry, and he has confirmed that the Brownells is selling the CProducts mag.

I bought 10 of the CProducts 30rd mags last week.

I gave them the torture test I guess you can say.

I loaded 30 rounds, rapid fired.... then loaded again with stripper clips, rapid fired again.
Then I slaped the same mag off of the bench and into the sand, picked it up, loaded it with stripper clips again, rapid fired all 30 rounds and it functioned flawless.

I highly recomend thier products.
