The SAR 80 by Charter Industries of Singapore is their home-grown military rifle.  It's something akin to a Daewoo K1 and the AR 18, and DOES use M16 magazines.  CIS turns out to be pretty well thought of in terms of product quality, so I'd say for steel magazines these should be pretty good.

There mags are made to the same quality as GI mags just in steel instead of aluminum. They are REALLY good mags for the price.

Yes I know GI mags are only...blah blah blah...

+1

I bought a couple when I got my first AR in September '04.  They might be a little heavier than aluminum, but they are very solid.  Never had a problem with them.

I got them today, they seem to be very tight, or something? I have to pull the bolt back to get the mag catch to engage. They also hit on the upper, I think I can raise the catch opening a little with a dremmal. Has anyone else had this problem?

Most people adjust them with a small file. It only takes a little to get them to fit.
