Just got back from the gunshow and saw a lot
of unmarked M14/M1A mags at various dealers. Light grey parked w/welded mag catch on the back. Seemed to weigh about the same as GI and they defintely were not the blued USA stuff. They look like the old Chinese mags. Is anyone importing these again? None of the dealers
could/would tell me the manufacturer.

I'd be they're the same ones that e-gunparts.com was selling a couple of months ago.  I bought some, and the bodies seem fine.  But the springs are not USGI springs.  They dont' like to hold a full load of 20.  If you replace the spring that's in there (it has round corners) with a USGI one (it has square corners), it works better, but USGI is still tops.
