Local shop has a big box of AR mags that are marked 'Singapore" in the same type of stick that the SA80 mags have. They appear to be an aluminum mag with construction like the SA80 mags.

Anyone have any clue about these?

My favorite gun shop has a bunch of these and they appear to be identical to the English mags I have. They were asking $19.95 and I was tempted to buy one but chickened out. Maybe I'll pick one up next time I'm there, test it out and write a quick review.

I saw some at the gunshow today and they looked exactly like the grey english mags, they even had the same sticker on them except instead of saying england they say singapore, i did not pick them up to see if they were aluminum or steel so I cant comment on that

I saw some yesterday for $19. They were steel and looked just like the British mags. Even the sticker looks the same. I found it funny that the sticker said Singapore in English and not in Singaporeanees.

[rolleyes] English is the primary language in Singapore. I've been there, they speak it quite well, along with Chinese, Malay, etc...
