I have an opportunity to purchase several 30-rnd AR15 magazines.  They all are manufactured by Universal and have a stamp on the bodies:

6P199
05/00 (or) 04/00

I believe they are post ban manufactured.  What are the federal laws governing purchase/ownership.  I am a law enforcement officer but the mags wouldn't be purchased by the department, they'd be purchased by me.

If it makes any difference, the gun they's be used in is a pre-ban AR.

Thanks

I meant to type Center Industries... not Universal (duh).  Anyway, thanks for the reply.  I already have a decent supply of pre-ban USGI 30/20 rounders and am not interested in risking it just to have some extras.
