OK, was in PSA today, got 3 of the 50-rnd boxes of New Manufacture Black Hills 223 Remington 55gr TSX. Paid $24.99 per box of 50. Regular price was marked $64.99, so I guess I got a deal. Question is, how is performance of the Barnes 55gr TSX in the 223 Remington load? Any expansion issues (16" barrel)?

I'd be real excited about that deal.  

I thought all the TSX bullets do well.  Although, I think they said the 50 grain had to be the 5.56 loading.  Or something like that?????

I'm not sure what the deal is, but on the list of approved loads, they only have the Federal loading in the 55 grain TSX.  My guess is, the Black Hills will work though...  But you be the judge.

Fernandina. Corporate set the price, I think they screwed up. Might try your local store, I bought what I could find. Look at the shelf price.

I recently bought several thousand rounds of Black Hills ammunition during PSA's ammunition clearance sale.

Their remanufactured 55 grain soft points were $7.99 per box.

I also got two boxes of new manufacture 77 gr. Sierra Matchking's for $12.99 per box, and also one box of 75 gr. Hornaday new manufacture for $12.99.  

I really didn't think that the orders would go through and that it was a pricing error, but I received all 3500 rounds in about a week.
