They moved into the shop vacated by Ozark Ordnance after they (Ozark) when tits up. And if I recall correctly, they may have bought some of the machinery from Ozark? Not sure on that part, though. They claim to have no affiliation with the former owners or management - supposedly a completely new company.
I've been eyeballing a couple of the MidAm loads for a while now, too. Just getting back into shooting my Remington 700 SPS Tactical and want some more plinking fodder. Wasn't hemming and hawing due to potential quality issues with MidAm, but rather trying to figure out if I could reload it cheaper on my own. I'm not hardcore into reloading, so I think I'm better off just buying some of their reloads since I'd need to buy the dies and some brass. I am pretty uptight about the brass I use, though, and generally stick to Lapua cases for all of my rifle reloading. Got plenty of powder, primers, and various .308 bullets... but just the dies (I'm a Lee guy, so ~$30 for the 3-die set) and brass (100 Lapua cases ~$80) will set me back $110. For almost that price, I could just buy 250 rounds of the MidAm 220gr. subs for $117.50

So... buy 250 rounds and be ready to go shooting, or spend about the same money to load only 100 rounds. Hmm. Yeah, I know my cost-per-round will decrease as I load more... but I'm not certain how much loading I would do.
Hmm...
