Has anyone tried this CBC "sniper" ammo.

I have used several thousand of the 77 grain CBC out to 1,000 yards and it is fantastic value, but I have no idea if this 308 ammo is made in the same factory, Magtech has so many suppliers.

Good question, My R700 likes 168 grn ammo, it seems to be in the sweet spot for weight.

I missed the obvious. Its from Brazil.

CBC - Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos

so same source as their excellent 77 grain 556.

I found chrono results for it, a bit low, 2550 fps from tactical length bolt gun, so 100-200 fps less than some brands. Might be a problem is a gas gun?

The .308 ball CBC/Magtech goes bang every time for me.

This 168gr ammo most likely is more accurate then the ball... I ordered some based on... better accuracy, and priced like Ball ammo.

FYI... I finally got my CBC 168gr ammo... the distributor sent the wrong stuff the first time...

So this weekend I will be trying it in my PSA PA10 GenII w/ Criterion barrel.

Cross your fingers.

I tried this load in my Sr25 ECC this past weekend. I just bought a bunch more. on par with accuracy I have seen from FGMM through the same rifle. Very impressed.

My PSA PA10 GenII kind of liked it... Red Dot is about 1 inch...... but for its price, it is a good deal IMHO. ( $30 / 50rds. )

The PSA prefers 168gr FGMM....
