After all this time I finally managed to get out and put the Ruag through it's paces, in the desert, and-- it snowed on me.
Anyway, a PSA rifle, with a LaRue 18 inch Stealth barrel, and a Geissele trigger, I managed a 1.054 inch ten shot group at 90 yards. This is actually very good for me, as I am old and feeble and shit like that  . Best group ever with this barrel was a .6125 inch 5 round group
with Nosler 77g, 23.5 H4895, so this is amazingly accurate ammo for what it is intended to be. Rather than handload, I am going to be using this ammunition now until I have a nice stockpile of this beautiful brass to play with. |

Is RUAG as desirable as IMI? Sounds like it!
Is the RUAG XM193 as accurate/desirable as their XM855 is ? I ask as the only RUAG I shot was cheap polymer coated steel and I thought it was Russian crap. Just wondering if I should be keeping an eye out for any brass XM193 by them? |

I can't say I remember seeing any RUAG M193... ever... the closest is Geco 55gr FMJ ( same packaging, stripper clips and case ) BUT, I have no idea if the bullet frags at all like a M193 bullet. But... the MEN 56gr also has great accuracy from my firearms. So good, that if I was able to trade my excess XM193 for MEN ... I'd do it in a heart beat. |

Fire season is over here in NV. 3/8 inch steel of unknown hardness at 300 yards laser. LaRue 16" PredatAR barrel, Geissele trigger, PSA rifle. Lake City M855
made M855 divots, and Ruag made deeper ones. 1/3 deeper.  Not AP, but Does punch harder than the LC. Accuracy from this barrel is identical to my 18 inch LaRue
Stealth barreled rifle, Slightly over an inch at 100 yards. Of interest, 64 Gold Dot was very close to the Ruag zero at 100 yards, but not quite as accurate with flyers on occasion. The Ruag was very accurate at 600 yards, but no actual target to shoot out there. THAT steel plate was the 300 yard test target.

The ruag m193 came in a 200 round white bags with white 50 rnd round boxes. Weapons world was the last place I saw it.
