Part of the reason I don't move into a different caliber is so I don't have to stock up on it too.

Made about 1,200 9mm on my Lee Loadmaster. Primer system finally gummed up a little so I had to clean it as I got about 10 rounds without primers out of the 1,200.

I hand prime all of my brass to avoid that issue as it happens to a lot of different press brands.

I just never have the time (or attention span) to put into a new caliber.  I might get out only 3 or 4 times a year and I want to maximize my time out there and end up taking a bunch of shit and bouncing around.

The place I go to is a friend's family farm, so I have to coordinate through him and make sure someone isn't out in the field and his schedule doesn't always line up with mine. I usually work 6 days a week, so that puts a damper on it.

And it's been single-digits for a while and we don't get winters like you do.

That's actually a decent deal there, nice.

Pulled four range pick up reloads that a friend was going to shoot before I stopped him, my hunch was right, they were hot. As ifvit was meant that way for kicks an giggles at someone's risk. May fuck be upon that one.

Reloaded the pulled projectiles today. Score!

Bought a can of this yesterday http://www.sgammo.com/product/223-556mm-ammo/910-round-can-556-m855-fiocchi-62-grain-ammo-stripper-clips-made-canada-ivi-5

I know there's cheaper ammo out there but I'm a sucker for the plastic stripper clips, I like them much better than the steel ones. I bought two cans at a gun show thirty years ago and I haven't seen any more since then until now. This is the same stuff the Canadian military uses. Shoots great, I haven't had any problems with it.
