I ordered 3 boxes not sure about their shipping speed but the price was great. Noslers have shot the best in my recce so I figured Id try them out in 300blk.  If they hold 1-2moa Ill be happy. REviews on the round have been good people say great on hog and deer

The 400 Nosler 110g varmageddons in an ammo can for $212.00 shipped mentioned earlier in this thread was an amazing deal. As is the 125g Hornady Gunner.

Stillwood ammo, while loaded a little light (at least the batch I've tested), is very reasonably priced and seems to be of decent quality. Good HD ammo.

SG ammo had the magtech 123G fmj for .38c a round, IIRC.

Thanks. I'll take a look around. What is a reasonable price for a case of 1000 and half case of 500 rounds?

I can't seem to find anything official from Federal about extending the rebate... I'm curious if they are extending the AE handgun rebate as well. Or... it's bunk, and the rebate isn't extended at all.

If you go to link on a smartphone,  the rebate shows up in the bottom,  and the date truly is extended - that's the good news.   But whoever officially rewrote the rebate at Federal, forgot too also include the promised Xm855CSF code that was promised to be added...

Looks like you are right. Also looks like they are only extending the rebate on the 5.56mm/.223 ammo... and not the handgun stuff as well.

You can check out this thread on PSA’s vendor page:

I know there are some skeptics, but PSA will get an ear full from members here based on this thread on their personal vendor page if Federal doesn’t come through.

IMI 5.56 M193 55gr

https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2090862857/imi-ammunition-556x45mm-55-grain-m193-full-metal-jacket-boat-tail

$290 for 1200 rounds = 24.17 cents per round.
Add a $3 free shipping items like this, and shipping is reduced.  Total for me was $300 = 25 cents per round delivered.

Or:

$110 for 450 rounds = 24.44 cents per round.
Add a $3 free shipping items like this, and shipping is reduced.  Total for me was $116 = 25.78 cents per round delivered.

Yes, but just recognize it's cheaper based on a promise that the group at Federal responsible for honoring rebates is going to honor the rebate for an item with a product code not listed on the rebate list.  They probably will.... probably.

I certainly don't think anyone is purposely being deceptive.  But in my experience when it comes to rebates, I've gone through that game enough to learn that Rebate processing is usually outsourced to a 3rd party.  And that party in general has incentive to legitimately deny rebate submission attempts.  Sending in a rebate form with a Product code that is not on the list, has greater than low odds of causing problems.   Once the rebate is closed, and now it's time to send checks, it can be funny how priorities change.   Would PSA or Federal eventually make it right?  Probably - but that making-it-right may well involve additional individual PITA.  Enough PITA that not everyone bothers to go through it.  While it's never initially set up for that to be consciously by design, that ends up being a benefit in and of itself, that ends up not being minded so much by the people who have to write the checks.

So, yea it really IS worth noting and asking for correction to the rebate paperwork now, rather than going through a future uncertainty.

That said, it sounds like this may have solved itself, as PSA has just posted on their AR15.com subforum that they now have the updated rebate form that lists this code, and are working on posting that.  Once that happens, all worries are over, and I may order even more! (Just do yourself a big favor and be sure to download and use THAT rebate form)

That's kinda high.  If you can swing it the better deal is 10x pmags and 1000 rounds for $349.99.  The pmags usually are on sale for $79.99 so the ammo comes out to $270 or $0.27/round compared to the $0.30/round for what you linked

http://palmettostatearmory.com/american-eagle-5-56mm-fmjbt-ammunition-1000rds-ten-10-magpul-pmag-30-5-56x45mm-magazines.html

I bought 4,000 federal with the rebate.  Probably would have bought eight, but I ordered before the rebate expansion and I had already mailed two rebates in.

Bought 800 of the .27/rd Norma.

Bought 1260 IMI on Black Friday.
Bought 1350 IMI a week or two after.
Bought 2400 IMI on the last sale.

Now I need to find time to shoot a bit

Over 10k 5.56 and 6.8 added to the ammo fort last year!

This ^^^^^^. It’s been on sale intermittently. Keep an eye on it. I loaded the boat on the M193 @ 24cts a rd and the M855 at 26cts a rd. I have a feeling we will look back at this time as the Golden era of low priced ammo. The federal rebate on the 9mm at 13 cts a rd was amazing!!! Salad days for sure!

There were certain lot numbers that had issues. Someone posted the bad lot numbers in GD.
Many folks responded and nobody received any of the questionable lot numbers.
All mine were GTG. I have 800rds through a DDM4 V5 with no issues. I will be buying more if
It goes on sale.
