I'm just starting USPSA/IPSC with my 1911. I've been using the Winchester white box 230gr but
it shoots a little low in my gun and the old timers told me to try and find a lighter load with less recoil.

I found some 185 gr factory stuff a long time ago but can't remember who made it.

I don't have time to re-load, so that's not an option right now.

Speer Lawman 185 gr TMJ KY Imports has it at a good price, shoots great.

Natchez has remington UMC 185 tmj's for 8.99 a box.

Winchester also makes a 185 gr FMJ round.
