I was just at Dick's in MN - same sale - Remington UMC - 55gr - 50rd boxes. They did not have any in stock and had the 20rd boxes marked with the special. They gave me a rain check - but had no idea when they would be in stock.

Let me get this straight. 50 round boxes of Remington UMC for 20 round prices? I was just in a Dicks last Friday in MD and I didn't see any 223 ammo at any price. I saw 9mm and tons of shotgun shells.

Well I'll be checking out the Dicks in Columbia, Md Tuesday. If this deal is not happening in Maryland and a poster said it was in Pennsylvania can somebody tell me if there is a Dicks in York or some other town near MD? Thanks.

Are you guys seeing this deal advertised for this week? The Dick's insert in the Baltimore Sun today has boxes of 50 Remington UMC in 9mm, 380 Auto, 38 Special, 45 ACP or .40 S&W. No 223. I guess we don't get the deal in Maryland.

Just came from Dick's. They say it's a misprint, and none of their stores has 50 rd packs. The price is for 20 rds. They would honor that price on UltraMax. Told 'em they could keep that shit.

I just returned from one of the local Dick's in MD and the guy working the dept. said there is no such sale and he has never seen 223 UMC in 50 packs. He was a nice guy and even called the York, PA store to check if the sale was happening in PA and they said there was no such sale there either. He said the people who posted that they were given rain checks for 50 packs in their area will be surprised when they receive 20 packs for $4.48. Like someone once said "If it seems to good................................................

I asked the guy on the phone if it was 4.99 for 50 and he said yes. After a 5 min pissing contest I left. If it sounds too good to be true...

I bought 1k of Remington UMC 9mm 115g FMJ at Dick's last month. Total bill= $113.00
I'll be heading back tomorrow for another case, and any .223 they might have. It they have the banner up, misprint or not, it's all mine! Sad part is that they have a shooter working there and he usually buys all the .223 before it even hits the shelf! |

I do not think UMC even sells 50-rd .223 boxes- I could be wrong- but I have never seen any. Only 20 rd boxes around here. Here is the UMC website- I see no 50-rd SKU- http://www.remington.com/products/ammunition/umc/umc_centerfire_rifle.asp I checked 2 Dick's here (NC) yesterday and they had 20-rd bxs for $4.99 w/ a 10% discount if you bought 10 or more. UMC 9mm was $5.48 / box if you bought 10 or more. I didn't get any having bought 600 rds the other weekend of Fiocchi at the Fun Show for $60 OTD. 4073 |

I haven't been able to find any more Remington UMC for $3.97 at Walmart but I did stop at a store today that had Winchester 40rd value packs for $7.73. I bought 4 boxes.
