Going from a 55gr FMJ to a 62 FMJ?  1/9 barrel

Thanks :)

Possibly a little more recoil, lower POI, similar accuracy.

Course, these are what generally SHOULD happen. Every barrel is different.

What really is the difference then?  Which is more preferred for target shooting?

55gr is more plentiful and easier to find (i.e. Wal-Mart).

Other than that, with that barrel twist, flip a coin.

If they're both the same quality, they should both be pretty much the same for accuracy.

I use 55gr in 1/9s and 62 gr in 1/7s.   I have used 55 grain in the 1/7s in the past and the results were ok.  If the price was right I would do it again.  In theory the 62g should preform better in the 1/7.  Your results may vary.
