Well, I know that sabot projectiles in .223 and .308 exist, but that would be far to commonplace a conversion.  Besides, we already have ARs in those calibers!

I am thinking maybe a 9 or 10mm Sabot.  waddya think?

I convert my gun all the time from 223 to 50 but that means I have to carry 2 uppers
just thought it would be neat to be able to fire a clip full of 50's then pop another clip in and shoot 308 or similar caliber.
Also thought it would be good for hunting in taking close shots with the 50 and the longer shots with the other caliber and only having to carry 2 clips
