Operator error!  Or perhaps a clever conspiracy to slow down sales allowing a small group of persons to horde?

Like the others have said without more info its hard to say one way or the other.

All I know is I have always been told never to shoot wolf ammo in AR's because it is lacquer coated and after a few rounds it melts in the chamber and can cause over pressure.

This wolf in question is not of the laquer type. But brass cased.

Wolf doesnt even make lacquer coated ammo anymore, the whole lacquer melting thing was a rare occurrence.... and it never cause overpressue.

It is fine to be given wrong mis-information.  But please dont spread it.

Actually, I'm relieved. I live by the rule of thumb that ALL Wolf ammo is shit, and so I never think about using it. If some was actually good, I'd get terribly confused.

This thread reminds me of the Guys who would post that they had 5 duds in their case of XM193.

Simply a case of wanting to curb demand so they can make it to pay day and buy more for themselves!

Yes, it was a clever plan, by "The Man", to slow down the sale of evil black rifles, wit those nasty bayo lugs and flash hiders. The drive by bayonetings are getting out of hand again !!!

Thats all fine but think about this before you get an attitude (But please dont spread it) next time. How is a person to know its "mis-information" when that is all they have heard.
you and the other person are the only two people that have told me anything other then wolf was bad ammo.

You are correct.
The lacquer was a major source of contention.  Due to western consumer feedback, WOLF stopped using laquer in about 2004.
Now you know!

Everytime  I use Wolf ammo, their legs and tails get caught in the mag, jamming my AR. Since I swithched to handloading my own Coyotes, I just trim off the legs and tails and they run through the gun just fine.

Oh, I almost forgot, I said Kaboom at the range and all the Glock owners jumped and looked at their guns........

Even the Glocks in the display case fell apart.....

Oh sorry, I thought this was the BULLSH*T THREAD!!!!!!

C.M.

Can u smell it!!!!!
