What kind of ammo for sighting?

What kind of ammo would you recommend for zeroing iron sights @ 50 yards.

I just have a bunch of those winchester value packs. Does it really matter?

Honestly, not really at 50y. If you plan on, or wish the ability to, hit relatively small targets at extended ranges then it DOES matter that you zero with the ammo you intend on shooting.

I personally zero my carbine with 55 gr. 5.56, and my long range rifle with 75 gr. .223.

You zero with you SHTF ammo. Only makes sense to me.

I only have good quality ammo. It's all I buy and shoot.

Ive been know to use cheap/Wolf to get on paper!

The other day I was shooting 50 yards useing LCM85/SBSS109 and BH77 both had about the same POI

62gr/77gr.

But fine tune what you will use for SHTF MODE
