When storing 223 ammo in 50s or Tall 50s ammo cans- do you like to keep the ammo in the boxes or loose in the can?

Boxes as it keeps it seperate and does not let it get dinged up.

loose, its easier to load mags that way.

Some loose, some in Radway bandoleers.

I don't care as long as it stays dry. I don't throw my ammo cans around.

loose, easier to load mags, and i shoot it, not admire it.

We are talking about ammo, right? Some people might get the wrong idea according to the heading.

Loose. It's a f@#$%^& pain in the neck though when you have to open up all the boxes after you receiving 5 cases...

I like it on stripper clips, but barring that, loose is fine.

Boxed ammo annoys me.

I keep my Wolf loose, and my good shit boxed.

I individually wrap each round, and include some dessicant, then put it in between a layer of soft padding and bubble wrap.

All my ammo is in it's original boxes or in mags.

The boxed stuff usually stays in the boxes until I put it on strippers. All reloads stay loose.

In the boxes - allows me to keep track of quantities, and store multiple calibers/brands in one can.

Loose, I hate having to deal with boxes and packing at the range and its easier to grab a handful of rounds when loading mags or stripper clips.

I also inspect the ammo as it's unpacked so I know ahead of time if there are any defects in the box and not surprised at the range when trying to shoot it.

I disassemble the ammo into components and pack the components separately.

I put all  my M193/SS109/M855/BH77/75 on strippers and bandoliers for SHTF !

If I plan ahead I will load all my mags before going to range to save time!

and if I use wolf or other 223rem I leave it in the box it came in with so it wont get mix with the shtf ammo

Let me guess, you have 87 different boxes of components, right?
