I'm not sure what model that is, but non-varminter bushies are usually 5.56, and if you look at your barrel, 5.56 is probably engraved on it. Thus, you can shoot 5.56 and .223.

its a standard Bushmaster 16" M4A3 carbine removable carry handle birdcage flash supressor.
I'll have to see if I see anything stamped on the barrel. |

It will be stamped, and if it's a m4a3, it will shoot 556, and 223, but make sure it is marked that way first. It will probably say 556nato, so you can shoot both

FWIW, this is a question best asked before one has the rifle in hand. Mike ps - face it, how happy would you be to find out, that due to improper research prior to your purchase you found yourself the proud owner of a rifle w/ a SAAMI spec 223 chamber.....  |
