Hey guys.  I found a place locally that is selling the 300 round South African Battle Packs for $65.  This sounds fair but not a deal.  Also there is some Lillier and Bellot I saw somewhere for $35 per 200 rounds.  Any comments?

MAN I HATE AMMO PRICES!!!

I wish Winchester would crank out there Q3131

I was paying under 3 bucks a box at GALYANS back in 2001 when I lived in IND.

Moved here in FLA 2003 and there is 3 so called gun shops that didnt even carry any good ammo just some 80`s PMC M193 for  over 5 bucks a box!

l guess we are lucky to have?

Black Hills

FED AE 55/62FMJ

Wolf

THERE MUST BE ALOT OF OLDER M16 OUT FIGHTING THE WAR???

So what do you think about these prices FMJ?

What is Black Hills going for now per/1000 for their 62 gr.?  Isn't that what Blackwater run in their Bushmasters?

I was paying $35-40 per 300 2 years ago if you are talking about the SA 5.56 stuff. Good hot NON reloadable stuff in 55 grain. I still have 1 full case left but I would not pay that price [$65]  for more. I'd probably go about $50 but that would be tops. I do like it tho and I never had a problem with it, always fed went bang and ejected fine in everything I ran it in. All my chambers are 5.56 NOT .223.

I think you would be better served with Fed AE or Black Hills  55gr fmj

SA is good ammo but shouldnt cost that much!

The S&B is it SS109 62gr.  or there so called M193 55gr.FMJ

Any way I like there S&BSS109  its hotter than M855 3148FPS @ 25yds.  SD14

There M193 is also good ammo but is SUPPOSE to under specs! and has a metal Jacket thats copper washed Other than that good ammo
I feel any M193 should be no more than 4 bucks for 20rds.
And even LESS for OLD surplus ammo
35 seems okay for S&B but always try talking down regardless
