Is the brass cased Blazer 45 worth more than the alloy cased and slightly less expensive type?

I see that Blazer brass cased ammo is not much more right now.

Performance differences?

I think my 5"1911 shows just more than 850 fps with the alluminum cased 230gr. ball. Reliability seems good, rounds once chambered show scratches, one round in thousands was short OAL visably.

Sure if you need the brass.
Reloads fine.
The Brass Blazer is real clean ammo.
Feeds and is accurate in my 45s.
Performs as well as Aluminum Blazer,PMC and Fed AE for me.YMMV

I have used both Blazer alluminum and brass cased ammo in the same caliber through the same gun in both .45 and 9mm. I found no difference in performance between cases. If you don't reload, save the money and get the alluminum.
