I did a search on UMC ammo, but it really didn't answer my question. I have an Oly 16" lightweight.  I have been shooting White Box Winchester USA brand 55gr FMJ and UMC brand 55gr MC almost exclusively.  I have had no problems at all with either load.  My question is regarding velocity as compared to Q3131, Fed XM-193, and others.  Both Winchester and Remington websites state muzzle velocity is 3240fps.  But that is out of a 24 inch barrel.  How does this compare to the others I mentioned, and what can I expect out of my 16" barrel.  Has anyone chronographed these loads? Are the factory quotes accurate?  And is this really much less than the others, being a budget brand?  Sorry for asking so much all at once.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thank you.
