i usedto get surplus 223 from southern amunition it was dented and tarnishd bu it was dirt cheap any idas where to get decent surplus nato ammmo thesedays thanks jim

for myself wolf is a alternative to low grade surplus. several of us get zero problems with it. you might want to check it out as the going rate is $100 per thousand shiped to your door. youd be hard pressed to find surplus that cheap and if you did...i don't think it would be a pretty sight. look for the stuff with no red sealent around the neck, that would be the new stuff.

Wolf is my blastin' ammo with my handloads for showin' off. That's cheap surplus! I probably spend as much for ammo as most, I just shoot a lot more than most. Hoppy
