Has any city or state passsed a law against "stockpiling" ammunition, say an arbitrary number of rounds per caliber, like 10,000?

If Clinton were in charge, I'm sure it would be on her list of things to do...

Don't know about caliber or number of round restrictions but there are definitely many Fire Code restrictions in many places that would have a direct impact on the quantiy.

IIRC if Klinton had been able to get Brady II through (it is still on the liberal agenda BTW) it required a special ATF "Arsenal" license for more that 1000rd.

I thought I had heard it proposed somewhere before (I had even heard a measure against stockpiling non-perishable food - in the event you are besieged???).

ikor, do you recall if that was 1,000/caliber or 1,000 total rounds?

IIRC, the proposal was more than 1,000 total cartridges or primers. Have a brick of primers and you can't have any ammo without the license. No exceptions for rimfire or anything else.

I hope there are no limits, because I thought I was almost out and bought 2000 XM193 to find over 2500 rounds already at home!  Please dont tell Liz!
