Ah yes. A sad tale indeed...

The Sirens' Song:
Version of Ancient Myth:

Dangerous muses of the sea, the Sirens sing out their song
to fishermen and sailors on the ocean. Their sweet, enticing
songs lure men to their deaths by making them cast themselves
into the sea.

Heed cautiously their song:

Oh, happy seafarers are ye
And surely all your ills are past,
And toil upon the land and sea,
Since ye are brought to us at last;
But now, but now, when ye have lain
Asleep with us a little while
Beneath the washing of the main,
How calm shall be your waking smile!

The Sirens' Song:
Modern Day Version:

Dangerous muses of the gunshow, the Wolf Sirens sing out
their song to firearms owners and enthusiasts in the marketplace.
Their sweet, enticing prices lure shooters and their weapons to a
fate characterized by long labored cleaning and replacement part
purchases, also making them cast their money into the sea.

Heed cautiously their song:

Oh, happy shooters are ye
And surely all your ills are past,
And toil with the ammo of high fee,
Since ye are brought to Wolf at last;
But now, but now, when ye have a few rounds more
Shot then with us with daily glee
Before the endless scrubbing of the bore,
How violent shall be your rifle's KB!

... Oh come on girl, have you ever even shot Wolf ammo? I don't so much any more, but I've gone through cases upon cases (even before they curtailed the use of the red lacquer) with nary a jamb or squib. ... For fun range blasting the ammo is fine. ... I wouldn't use it in serious situations but for cheap plinking it's fine.

They did an ammo test on it. Pretty unimpressive round. Works ok for plinking, though.

Now accepting donations of dangerous, KB-prone, smelly Wolf.
