I have a varmit upper on order with a 1:8 twist. I have used Georgia Arms 52 grain ammo in a 1:8 barrel and had good luck but thought I would need to go to a heavier bullet. What are the thoughts on their 62 or 68 grain ammo?

I can't comment on the Georgia Arms loads, but I do like the heavier BTHP match loads sold by Black Hills. I have used their 68, 69 and 75 gr versions and like them all. Your 1:8 twist should give you lots of options and I would assume that any of the above mentioned bullet weights/lengths will be stabilized by it. -Charging Handle
