About a week ago I came across a website that had Single Round Ball Ammo for shotguns. But since then I have tried to find it again with no sucess. I can not find it anywhere. I have went to every site in my History folder, but can not find who make them. They were assemblied like a sabot round with a plastic wad.

Does anyone know who makes this type of ammo and is it worth getting.???

This used to be the most common type of slug out there for deer hunting and the like. I honestly have not seen it in years, and do not think they make it any more.

I've seen it in Midway's big catalog...round ball/wad combo only, you have to load it yourself.

Try this:

Would stick with the standard slugs at $1.99 per five round boxes from Win or Rem for 99.999% of the appliations I can think of.

Thanks for the info... But this particular site had fully loaded 2.75" shotshells for the 12 gauge.

What are you looking to do that any of the wide variety of easily findable slug shells won't do?

Nothing in particular... Just wanted to try something new and the whole muzzle-loaded effect that this ammo will produce is quite appealing.
