Does anyone know how well these fragment and at what velocity they stop fragmenting at? What are the average velocities out of 16" and 14.5" barrels with factory loaded ammo. Thanks in advance.

Both fragment well but I have a slight preference for the 68 gr because of it's shorter neck. I can't recall the velocities right off the top of my head but both should maintain the velocity needed to fragment out to at least 100 yards, maybe farther. For defensive work that should be more than adequate. -Charging Handle

Do that fragment worse, as well as or better than M193?

These are very highly recommended as fragging very nicely at fairly low velocities. The 75 grain bullets are supposedly the best of all anti-personnel type ammo, with the 69 and 68 second choice. The 60+ (I forget) Power-Point next, then M193.

They fragment well, I would say better than M193 and they are also probably a bit more consistent in doing so. Plus they are match loads, so they should be more accurate as well. I would rate them in the following order: 1. Hornady/Black Hills 75 gr OTM 2. Black Hills 68 gr OTM 3. Federal/Black Hills 69 gr OTM -Charging Handle
