I bought some pulldown red tracer bullets and I am looking for any good loading data. I have WC844 that I use for 62 grain green tip butit does not seem to ignite the tracer compound. Any information on a good hot powder ? I am using these in my 1/9 Bushy M4 with a phantom.

I have looked for the same thing.

I have found that imr4064 effectively lights the pulldowns.  Thats all I buy to load tracers.

I use varget for all other stuff, it no lighty.

Frisco (another dfw crew guy) uses imr 4895 I think.
Also, sparsky uses the the 2230 and it works.

All i can say for sure is the 4064.

Good luck.

Look at the bases as noted, the batch I bough from Ammunition Store had "stuff" in the ends, I picked the stuff out to expose the brass cup/cap... I have loaded mine with 748 (about 80, ran out of powder), and loaded 50 into 22-250 cases with Winchester 760, fired 1 so far, it lit right up.

I have used Varget to light 308 orange tips in 30-06 with no problem.
