HEY people.At what grain will the round be to long to fit in a standard size ar mag.My rifle is a car-15,16" barrel.

I am certainly not the ammo expert around here but I do not think you will be buying anything in .223/5.56mm that won't fit your USGI mags.  Even talk of the 100 grainers that have been tested are mag ready.  Correct me if I am wrong here folks..........

Generally anything up to 77 gr. is magazine length. The 80 gr. and heavier are single load only and usually exceed magazine length.
