I will be going on a trip(work) next week and was hoping to get a battlepack of ammo to take and let the gentlemen I am working for fondle my AR and shoot some stuff, of course. My problem is I have only purchased ammo from gun shows so far and don't know where I might find battlepacks(not necessarily battlepacks, but that quantity) locally in the Atlanta area. There doesn’t seem to be any gun shows this weekend...oh, the horror!! As a last resort I can order online, but fast shipping sounds like a problem, dollar wise. Yes, I am cheap frugal.
I used up almost all of my ammo at the last two Atl shoots, not that I am complaining. It was great fun!! ::shameless plug::
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only place I've seen with SA BP ammo has been Bernie's Sports Center, but he charges
$59 per 300rnd BP!!!!!!

I was in 400 Jewelry & Pawn in Dawsonville yesterday and they had 1,000 round cases of Wolf (if you like Wolf) for $125.  Dixie Guns in Buford (near mall of Georgia) has 1,000 rounds of Winchester White Box for $180.  I'm fairly new to AR's so I don't know if these are good prices or not.  

You could also try Georgia-Arms in Villa Rica, GA.  Here's their price list.  The first price is for 500 the second for 1,000.

So are you blaming me for making you shoot all that ammo?  Someone said on another thread that Galyan's had a good deal on Q3131A, something like 160 for 1000 rounds.  I haven't looked there yet though.  Let me know where you find a deal.

I went by Galyans today and they were charging $192.11 for 1000 of Q3131A with tax.

YES Bushmaster-M4gery I blame you! You kept twisting my arm, teasing me with the promise of letting my try your Trijicon scope(Sweet!!), and then those dammed hOOters girlz. What was a fella to do but shoot most of his ammo. Uhhh, that came out all wrong...
I will be getting out in a bit to see if I can find some. I can hit Galyan's on my lunch hour if I cannot find something else.

Call Georgia Arms 800-624-6861(in Villa Rica, GA). They load an excellent 55gr FMJ in LC brass for $140 per 1000 rnds.  Also load extremely accurate 55gr Nosler BT and 68gr BTHP match.  I've used this stuff by the case and have had zero problems.

Shoot all you want, they'll make more!
