I heard someone mention something about Wolf shotgun ammo in another post here......is it true that they really make shotgun ammo now too? If so does anyone know where to get it and if it's any good? I like the 7.62x39 ok and they might make decent shotgun ammo as well.

It's pretty good ammo IMHO. I've been shooting thier 2 3/4" 1oz slugs in my 590 and at 50 yards it's pretty deadly. Also have 10 boxes of 2 3/4" 00 Buckshot, but have only shot a couple. Pattern holds inside a paper plate at 10 yards. The previous poster is correct that this stuff is made in Germany. Says so right on the box.

I took my new-ish slug barrel (not rifled) for my Mossberg 500a out this weekend with some Wolf Slugs. They patterned about 3" at 50 yards, on the black. Acceptable enough for mid range work. For the price (<$2.00 a box of 5) they were pretty cheap and went bang.
