Is there such a thing as an ideal length for pistol caliber ARs?  I was thinkng along the lines of maybe a 10 - 11 inch barrel for a .45 acp build.  Do you guys forsee any problems with that?  Thanks.

Send me an upper and I'll progressively cut it down 1" at a time and send you the test results.

8.2gr of Win 540 (Hodgdon HS-6) and a 230gr LRN out of a 10.25" Uzi pipe will get you 1080fps.

7.3gr 800X will do similar.

Cannot offer anything for Wolf 45 (pile of pick-ups) , or std factory loads (cost too much)....

Shoot .45 Super and get around 1200 fps.
