obviously a new upper receiver, what brands, makes?  Will the bbl from the 6450 fit right in?  How about keeping the bolt hold open function?  How about the brass deflector ? Thanks.

There are slabside flat tops out there.  I think you can get them from RRA.  Mine is either an RRA or an ASA.  Your barrel will fit right in.  BHO will still function as it does now.

the bolt hold open is in the lower




simple swap as would any other ar15 bbl. which there is a step by step in the build it yourself forum. the only real problem is finding a slabside flattop or dealing with a normal one.
