Just out of curiousity, has anyone shot a .22lr through a 1/7 barrel?

I use one with the Aguila SSS ammo and it shoots very well.

Hahaha

What type of accuracy do you see with those SSS on a 1:7?

They keep inside an inch at 50 yards, and around 1.5" at 100.  The barrel is from a Colt and I had it whacked off just behind the front sight base.  I use it with a free-float handguard and screw my old Project C suppressor on it.  I have found that a long barrel increases the amount of crap coming out of the ejection port with the SSS ammo, so I wanted to try a shorter one.  It works.

Also, since I am one of those odd left-handed individuals I put a 9mm-style deflector and dust cover on it.  That also helps with the crap-in-the-face.

i love .22 rimfire and shoot through 1/7. very far from ideal, and i don't use the same upper for .223 as the barrel will be leaded up.
