I recall reading quite a while ago here that someone was making these, or thinking of making them, or something like that.
Anyone know anything about that? Anyone selling these?

I the MFI fake suppressor looks good on your barrel.  Is it AIRSOFT?

The manufacturer is MFI. They make accessories for airsoft and real guns.

They also make a new Socom style one too.

Here's a slip on faux suppressor...

That's not it either. That's a suppressor/silencer, not a flash hider/suppressor.

The one your are looking for is like this:

Short Look Slip On Flash Hider

I have a similar FH on my 9mm AR. It's the standard screw-on one for 11.5" bbls. The internal diameter of the one I have is large enough for a 9mm bullet. I would bet the slip-on one would also fit a 9mm bullet but I would e-mail Bushmaster to find out for sure.

i would think the bushmaster slipover fh would work as long as your barrel is threaded 1/2x28

I use the slipover model. It works.

BTW, if you can do it some_finn, I would recommend getting your 9mm bbl chopped to 11.5" and get the 5.5" flash suppressor permanently installed. The velocity gain from a 16" bbl vs. a 11.5" bbl is negligible and a shorter bbl will actually keep internal pressure down which in turn will save wear and tear on the rifle. With that in mind, consider this - The MP-5 was designed around a 8.85" bbl and the Colt 0mm SMG was designed around a 10.5" bbl.

Are the 6450's threaded differently?

Well, I do have a real suppressor so I didn't mean a fake one

But generally I only use it when I shoot subsonic ammo and the 16" barrel with the A2 flash hider looks so long and skinny. I don't have the Finnish equivalent of an SBR permit so I can't have the barrel chopped without having the CAR flash hider permanently fitted. And then I couldn't use the suppressor of course.

What I meant was like the Bushmaster unit mentioned above, but I have the 1/2x36 thread.
I thought someone had a similar flash hider with the 36tpi thread but can't remember if it was completely custom or what.

Finn,
Is that something less than a 16" barrel?
Nice rifle.

Nope, 16". Shot it today in a blizzard, that was sort of different and fun

Where are you guys getting these flattop 9mm's?  Are the Clot, RRA or are you building them?  Soldier Medic, that bottom rig rocks!
