Is it safe to run 9mm +P and 9mm +P+ out of a 14.5" barreled semi-auto AR?
Thinking about doing a 9mm AR, cutting down the barrel, then permanantly attaching a YHM flash hider. Sure would like to be able to use feistier ammo. And keep all the parts I came from the factory with. The latter bieng more important.

Yes its perfectly fine.  There is a reason they list ammo such as Hirtenberger L7A1 Subgun ONLY as they can handle the extra pressure.
