My Spikes 9mm SBR. It’s got a 5” barrel with an integrated 3-lug. This was a budget build. Most all parts, except the lower receiver, I purchased as blemished product or I bought used right here from the EE.

ETA:
If you look closely at the first pic, you’ll see that one of my anti-walk pins, well... walked out.

Nordic Components PCC lower (M&P mags)
Slickside upper

7" Aero S-One handguard
JP 9mm bolt
JP 9mm silent capture spring
Geiselle S2S trigger
Holosun 510C FDE

SBA3

Shoots like a dream, and I its running 100% with and without the Obsidian 45 on it. The can with subs is amazing.

Im gonna need to find a block kit that works with an ADM4 lower soon as my stamp should be back for the sbr and I don't feel like using the NFA with brace anymore if I can help it.

“Fourth and Nine”

My fourth build. Spikes/Colt lower. 5.5” barrel with flash can and 7” Mlok fore end. Anderson slick side upper receiver. Spinta Precision flat side bolt, Spikes heavy buffer with carbine spring. Magpul furniture, K2+ grip and MBusPro sites.Milspec trigger until I buy a Franklin BFS III. I love the compactness and can’t wait to hit the range. The SB PDW brace is worth the expense, IMO.

Guys with the LAW folder, what BCGs are you using? My AR9 is a Macon Armory build that has been absolutely flawless but the BCG won't accept the LAW BCG adapter/extension. I'm loath to mess with something working so well, so I may have to do another build if anyone has a combo that's working well.

Be honest, an AR9 with 5"~ barrel and folding brace makes your pants tight, doesn't it?

Did you remove the roll pin and weight from the BCG?  Do you need the 1/2" diameter extension instead of the 5/8"?

My 9mm with LAW folder uses a Faxon barrel and Faxon BCG.  Shown below.  However, I have Kaw Valley and FM9 9mm BCG's and they would work as well.  You just have to remove the weight at the back end.  Not all 9mm BCG's are built with a removable weight.

I haven't removed the roll pin. I'm East right now and my AR is Colorado - until your post and a review of pictures online, I didn't even realize the BCG wasn't one piece! When I get back to CO, I'll take a closer look and maybe punch out that roll pin if I feel brave.

Thanks!

It's super simple. Punch out pin and weight comes out.

NOW, Rudy is not a fan of anyone removing weight from a PCC BCG, so consider that. That said, I did this to mine and everything has been fine SO FAR.

AS I was building from scratch, I used the Kaw Valley kit on my 9mm's and they work well.

This kit contains:
(1) Pistol Buffer Tube
(1) KVP Extra Power 17-4 SS PCC Spring
(1) KVP 7.5oz SS Blowback Buffer
(1) Castle Nut
(1) end plate

I've had good luck with my 9's they all run great with 115 and 124 gn.  However, The Faxon and Ballistic Advantage barrels won't run 147gn as they jam.  Tried swapping bcg's between faxon, kaw valley and fm9 and none would fix the problem.  My green mountain barrel (has a totally different internal feed ramp) runs everything like a raped ape using any bcg.

ADCO had a ALG rail that had been cut down to 7".  I put it on my 8.5" AR9.  The hand stop is from monstrum tactical and it was bought off Ebay (I has been asked before).   I have a SBA3 in route to go on here and then I am done with this build.

Thought I posted mine already. Here is a shot with my 4.5" Upper. I also have a 8.5" upper and a 16" upper. This one was inspired by CaptShiess and a few others. As soon as my Omega 9K is out of jail, it'll get a 3 lug.

Can never leave well enough alone. Changing my 9mm up for a 3rd time. Right now it’s got a grease gun sort of vibe

Changing out the 4” quadrail and 5.5” threaded barrel for a 8.5” URX4 Rail with a 5” Tros 3 lug under it. Planning on buying a Obsidian 45 this month so I’m changing around some guns to be cool hosts. The 4” Midwest Industries quadrail is up for grabs in the EE if anyone is interested.

Build 3: work in progress

Just finished my 9mm pistol.
Upper:
Joebob/NFA LRBHO upper
Macon 8.3” barrel
9mm A2 flash hider from Andro Corp
Spinta BCG
MI SP series mlok handguard
Mbus sights and Aimpoint PRO

Lower:
PSA complete flock mag lower with EPT trigger
SBA3 brace
Magpul K2+ grip

Only fired 100 rounds, but so far zero malfunctions. I did have to bend the LRBHO a bit but it has locked back 100% after the first Mag. So far I’ve only used factory Glock mags. I think it is going to be a lot of fun.

Yes it is a Magpul 21rd Magazine. The Backpack is one of those that you find at Gun shows for $30. It is 18" Tall and 10" wide, It had Two additional pockets on the outer flap (one was Damaged) that I cut off, Works OK, Low Profile, Easy to Deploy.
