I was wondering if .22 uzi mags could be made to work with a ciener kit? I have a bunch of .22 uzi mags and new 28 rounders can be had for $45. The are very durable and easier to load than ciener .22 mags. Would a 9mm block work?

No, it won't work.  Not even close.  In my opinion, 30 round Ciener mags are easier to load than the Vector 22 mags.

I have both the Vector kit and a Ciener kit.  Dan is correct.  It doesn't fit.  The Ciener bolt has to slide between the skinny lips on the Ciener mag.  The Vector mag's lips are are very wide and it doesn't work.  I was thinking the same.  Too bad it doesn't.

But the Ciener kit isn't that complicated as well!  Perhaps if the crime bill doesn't die a peaceful death we should revisit this as if Vector can make a 22LR insert for the UZI it seems the same should be possible for the M-16 or at a minimum we can make theVector UZI mags work in the AR-15!
