I'm looking for a 45 acp upper or complete rifle but need advice on what to get. Is it better to go the complete rifle route , what brand is best , about what should it cost,  also the best place to purchase. How many mags do I need. Lots of questions but thanks for any advice.

The only AR option right now is the Oly Arms .45 upper.  These need modified .45 or .41 AE uzi mags- good luck on finding them anywhere [:(]

Cavalry Arms has some kind of protoype lower that will fit greasegun mags and rumor has it there are a couple of companies looking at producing an upper for it...of course then you get into the issue of having a lower that only works for greasegun mags (unless the lower has an magblock for fit standard mags? hmm...food for thought)
