I think I figured this out. US military A2's were burst, except for maybe some SF rifles, but export and commercial LEO orders could have been full auto.

View Quote I remember back in 87' we had new M16A2 when we went to train with the Jordanian SF. They also had new M16A2s but with full auto instead of burst like we had CD |
