I called and they said it was not designed for the end user to be able to remove.
Hopefully I can have it cerakoted as is. |

PWS told me to send it to their local Cerakote shop because they have the tool to remove the barrel.
Ok 4 weeks later the shop calls to tell me that they can’t get their special tool on there without removing the muzzle device... which is pinned and welded. They are just going to plug the barrel and Cerakote the upper. Thanks PWS for the Uber proprietary barrel attachment crap that you designed. |

i'll probably would have to do the same and have it sprayed with barrel on |

The muzzle device needs to be removed so the gas block can be removed, so the barrel nut can be removed.

I believe the tube that the piston rod rides in is connected to the gas block and the block forward of the nut
