I am also going to wait and see if the correct parts show up... having said that even if they don't I think this is an eventual buy for me, just due to the background of it.

Get one now, and IF they import the correct parts, or better yet, the entire correct upper, get that too and build another rifle

Anyone ever find out if the Taiwanese carry handles and other parts ever made it to the US market? I would call Wolf and ask, but would probably get "coming next month".

I got the blem simple rear sight. Very unique mounting system. There is a spring loaded plate on the bottom of the
sight that has the recoil lugs. Use a punch in the roll pin to apply upward pressure to lift the plate and slide the sight on the rail.
Very snug fit. Will report back when I get some range time.

I finally got my T91 upper ordered from Atlantic. Since I got the carry handle already, may as well. Now all I need is the pistol grip and stock.

It isn't Taiwanese, but this rear sight will work with the short front sight and give a cowitness with a reflex sight on a absolute height mount:

Had to get the correct T91 muzzle device, since my wolf upper has the different FH on it. The bad thing is its not even lined up on the barrel at 12 o'clock, bothers my OCD.

it's supposed to be offset to the 2 o'clock position to handle muzzle rise better for a right handed shooter

Good airsoft is probably better than what the Twainese Army issues...

The airsoft guys are pickier and they are spending their own money.

The carry handle seems to be well made, it has two small tritium inserts underneath the aperture, they dont glow real bright.

If they are airsoft, they arent cheap.

Tricky. You will need the barrel wrench and a barrel blank. Turn to the correct profile and drill the gas port. They are not standard AR barrels and the gas port is drilled at an angle like an AK, not 90* like ARs.

Like an AK, the 45deg angle is supposed to help reduce erosion.

Just a side note, LMT MRPs also have a 45deg gas port angle.

It came with a flathead one, but I used the hex screw from my PSA lower.

Anyone having problems sighting in the Taiwanese made "stand alone rear sight" Got one in last week and it shoots real low. Tried turning down the front post, but it only goes so far.

The Taiwanese sight has to go with the Taiwanese front sight post, which is significantly shorter.

I had the same problem with the T91 carrying handle. Had to file down the front sight to just a nub. Bugged me so I sold the carrying handle. I gues the T91 gas block is shorter than the T91S (wolf A1) gas block.

The original sight has to be turned down really low. I was able to get a 200 yard zero. Doesn't stick up very high.

Thanks for the info. guys. I have an extra "short" front sight, so I guess I will just file it down and see what happens. This is a bit disappointing though
